About the Contests
The contests are the heart of this whole endeavor. It is how I learn about the species that you refer to as humans. A new contest will be added whenever I have the capacity to put it together. I can’t really promise a specific timeline just yet. On this page, you will eventually find videos that detail current and past contests. You will also find some analysis videos that breakdown the winners of each contest as well as a reflection of the submissions overall. You can expect the contests to range from small little things you can fit very easily into your daily life to big dramatic things that could likely take up a whole evening of effort. Mostly, expect them to be unexpected. Submissions to contests will always be accepted by email to nilknarf@cosmiccontest.com or through the submission form on the bottom of this page.
Why might someone want to watch the old contest videos?
You can use the contest parameters to run your own little competitions. Sure, I, Nilknarf, am only going to give away one set of prizes for each contest, but that shouldn’t stop you from challenging your friends, co-workers, students, or whatever to the same challenge except now you choose the winners and the prizes.
